The West Glens Falls Emergency Squad, Inc. provides Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to sick and injured residents and visitors to the Town of Queensbury.  We provide emergency care up to the Paramedic level and have a volunteer membership which consists of Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (Paramedics and Critical Care Technicians), Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT’s), Observers (newer members), and Junior Members (ages 14-18). Our volunteers are supplemented with paid staff in order to ensure continuous quality pre-hospital medical care. All of our ambulances and first response vehicles are certified through the New York State Department of Health and meet the requirements as set forth under the State Emergency Medical Services Code.
